This course presents a simplified step-by-step approach to learning bookkeeping/accounting
principles and practices. 24 hours

Section 2. Basic QuickBooks Feb 8 - Feb 16 2010
This course covers the application of an accounting software,QuickBooks and enables
the student to solve accounting problems using the computer. The student will have the
opportunity to compare manual and computerized operations. 12 hours

Section 3. Payroll Accounting Feb 22 – Mar 11, 2010
This course gives the student the techniques and knowledge to prepare payroll reports and file the necessary tax forms. In addition, the student will learn to prepare the appropriate journal and ledger entries. 20 hours

Section 4. Tax Accounting Mar 15 – April 1, 2010
Various tax issues and forms are addressed. Manual and Electronic exercises. 24 hours
