Human Resource & Payroll Program
 
This program covers the full breath of Human Resources such as
          Benefits, Training, Employment Law, Compensation, Records Management, Recruiting, Selection, Managing Performances, Separations and HR Software Systems.
 
The Payroll class is a comprehensive study of wages, federal and state regulations and law, payroll ledger and journal, plus worker compensation.
         
Students will be eligible for entry-level positions in a variety of fields related to Human Resource and/or Payroll and become a key employee with a management team in any small or large company.                    
 
New Class Start Date: January 25, 2010
Class Schedule: 3:00-5:00 pm Monday & Wed
Duration: 84 hours   7 weeks   Cost: $1200 plus books.
                                       
          1.  Networking Opportunities - Students will be  guests at a NNHRA (Northern Nevada Human Resource Assoc.) business meeting. 
          2. ABA class materials are selected to assist students who are studying for the HR (Professional certification exams provided by the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).
                                                 
Note: These classes do not guarantee passing any professional exam. The purpose of each class is to provide the students with pertinent information directly related to a section or sections of the comprehensive SHRM exams.
